#AmazonFind: Jungle Jim – A Musical Wildlife Adventure

I’m sure you’ve seen that meme that says I’m more of an Amazon Prime mom than a Pinterest mom.  Let’s just say that could have been made wit me in mind.  I LOVE my Amazon Prime.  And since it will need to be renewed in a few short months let’s add the renewal cost directly to the top of my Mother’s Day/early birthday list.  Anyway, I’m sure by now you know that Amazon isn’t just for shopping.

Disclaimer: I am being compensated for this review. As always all opinions are those of myself and JustaBXgirl (and in this case also her cousin).

I regularly use my Amazon Prime to stream shows for myself but I haven’t gotten into the habit of using it much for JustaBXgirl.  We recently got a Fire Stick so I see her spending more time on Amazon’s streaming service.  And it couldn’t have been better timing since I recently received the opportunity to check out Jungle Jim – A Musical Wildlife and to share info about him with you!

Jungle Jim is a 15 minute pilot found on Amazon that while geared towards younger children my eight year old nephew really enjoyed it and asked me when new episodes would be available.  Of course JustaBXgirl loved the show.  It combines two of her favorite things animals and music.  She asked me how soon we could visit the zoo after viewing the show the first time (and after every viewing after).

For us parents we can feel comfortable leaving our littles watching the show because it is educational.  I love how it teaches facts about the animals and introduces new vocabulary words.  JustaBXgirl and her cousin loved dancing around to the music.  Thinking about the music from the show has me humming “you can’t see me, because I have camouflage.”

They we paying me absolutely no mind while watching on their “island”

I also love that this show comes from the creative mind of a dad.  Steven Wagner’s kids loved hearing animal stories before bed.  One morning he woke up with the idea of creating a musical animal show.  And even better the whole show is a family affair.  Steven’s brother Eric wrote and produced all of the music for the show.  Eric is also the voice of all of the animals except for Dash the cheetah.  Oh and get this, Jungle Jim is voiced by Eric’s son!

I know, I know this seems too cute for words.  What are you waiting for?  Go watch, I mean have your littles watch.  Ooh, I almost forgot.  As a treat if you watch and leave a review on Amazon and then email the review link to info@junglejimmusic.com you will receive a FREE DVD of the pilot.  Yup, and I know if you’re anything like me you were going to leave a review just because!  If you don’t have Amazon Prime don’t worry, you can still watch the pilot (and get the free DVD for leaving a review).  You will have the option to either watch with commercials or do a 30 Day Prime trial.
