A Bad Moms Christmas Review

A Bad Moms Christmas Review

bad moms, bad moms christmas, comedy, kristen bell, kathryn , wanda sykes, mila kunis,
I was invited to attend a screening as media. As always my opinions are honest and my own.

You might remember that I really liked Bad Moms.  I know you did too.  I mean, come one, the movie made us laugh at ourselves while facing the good, the bad and the ugly of our motherhood journeys.  They’re back this Christmas holiday to make us take a look at ourselves as daughters!  Yup, our favorite Bad Moms are spending Christmas with their moms.  This movie and the actresses starring in it are hilarious.  Yet, just like the last movie, it will probably get you thinking about your life.

A lot of us are already gearing up to create the perfect holiday memories.  The reality is though that the harder we try the less we enjoy the moments.  We worry about the minor details and miss the majority of the fun.  This movie is a great reminder on how we can easily lose our joy this season if we don’t watch out.   One of my favorite scenes is when Kiki (Kristen Bell) is sitting at the therapist’s office and the therapist (Wanda Sykes) goes in about a mother’s work.  The relationship between mothers and daughters is not an easy one.  If it is for you then I hope you count that blessing daily.  For the rest of us, there is a lot of ebb and flow when it comes to our relationships.  This movie was a great reminder that things are rarely just black and white.  Who we are is greatly based on who our mothers are which is greatly based on who their mothers were and so on.

But don’t worry, you don’t have to get deep with the movie if you don’t want to delve far.  There are plenty of surface laughs and even some sexy Santas!
