It seems like I’ve been living under a rock because somehow I did not know about this amazing brand. I know, I know, you are sitting there laughing at me. Okay, maybe I’m being a bit over dramatic but when I discovered all that Mederma has to offer I really felt like people had been hiding this secret from me.
Picture the scene, I’m sitting at a recent blogger luncheon surrounded by fabulous women and we are not only getting the chance to meet a gorgeous celebrity but the opportunity to learn more about this skin care line. All of a sudden it seems as if every woman in that room had a Mederma story. Seriously, I’m not exaggerating! Over half the women sitting at my table alone had their own Mederma success tale. The room seemed to explode with delight over how products from Mederma had helped with scars, stretch marks and overall skin care. All of a sudden I was a lot more excited to try this line out.
I’m far from a beauty blogger and know zilch about skin types, tones and all those other beauty words you might be familiar with. What I do know is that I’m a nearly forty (eek) year old mama that likes being able to pass for a twenty-something on occasion. And I have recently realized that I might have to put a bit more effort into keeping that a reality. Enter Mederma AG!
This Mederma line was developed by scientists to provide the exfoliating benefits of glycolic acid in a gentle, pH-balanced cleansing and moisturizing system for the entire body. Now I won’t pretend to know what that means but I can tell you how it feels. My skin feels refreshed and moisturized. And that’s saying a lot seeing how lately we have been experiencing real winter weather in NYC which tends to leave my skin feeling really dry. I also have these two dry patches (one on each shin) that make it really hard to look cute in a skirt (not that I’ve been wanting to wear a skirt recently). Since using the Mederma AG body cleanser one has altogether disappeared and the other isn’t as noticeable as it had been. Here’s to hoping it to will be gone by the time the weather calls for skirts.
