Is Rocketbook The Future Of Note-Taking? *Giveaway*

We received this product for review purposes. As always, all opinions are honest and solely my own.

My niece started high school in September. I have no idea how that happened because last time I checked she was still my little bit. Alas, they grow so fast and let me tell you, high school is not what it was when I graduated from it, cough, twenty years ago. Sheesh, where does the time go?

When my niece started school she shared that in each class they would be taking notes on whiteboard desks and then transcribing their notes onto a laptop at the end of class. I thought this was interesting if not a bit time-consuming. I get it though. A lot of the students don’t have the experience of typing on a keyboard so the teachers don’t want them to get distracted trying to remember where each key is on the keyboard. I learned how to type in a typing class on, gasp, a typewriter.

We’ve come a long way baby! I love that my niece gets the chance to use a laptop in each class and get her note-taking skills up but I do think that it is a bit redundant having the students write their notes twice in the same class.

I’ve recently become aware of the Everlast Rocketbook and had the chance to check it out. What is Everlast Rocketbook? It’s the notebook you didn’t know you needed! Once you get the Everlast Rocketbook you really won’t need to buy another notebook ever again because you won’t run out of pages in your Everlast Rocketbook. How do I figure?

This is not my photo. I didn’t want to subject you to my chicken scratch or stick figures so I grabbed this from Rocketbook’s site.

Let me start by sharing that the executive size notebook has thirty-six pages. I know what you’re thinking. You can use thirty-six pages in one meeting. That is okay, because once you fill up the pages, you simply scan them using the app you will download to your phone and then wipe of the pages using a damp cloth.

Say what?! Yup, but wait, there’s more. You’re not just scanning the pages as if you’re taking pictures. You’re scanning the pages and sending them where you want them. What do I mean? I mean you can organize your notes as you scan them. At the bottom of each page you mark a symbol that directs the app where to send the information. You can send it to iCloud, Google Drive, Evernote, Dropbox, Slack, iMessage, Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft OneNote and to email.

Now because this notebook is meant to be used again and again you will want to make sure to wipe off your pages. They recimmend not leaving ink on the pages more than one month. I suggest not waiting that long because if you’re anything like me you will forget and then have trouble getting the writing/drawing to erase. You can use any damp towel to remonve ink from the pages but of course it is recommended to use the microfiber one included with the notebook. Oh, any towel might work but only one type of pen will do the job. You have to use a pen from Pilot Frixion line. Don’t worry, the book comes with one of those too.

I rarely leave home without a notebook in my bag. I have to admit though that my notebook is usually as jumbled as my brain. I’m really hoping that using the Everlast Rocketbook will allow me to feel more organized. And because I want to help you get organized I’m giving one away to one of my readers.  The best is that you don’t have to just rake notes in it. You can also doodle and draw. So many possibilities.

All you have to do to enter is let me know who in your household can get the most use out of the Everlast Rocketbook. Winner will be selected on Monday, October 22, 2018.  Winner will have 24 hours to respond to email before a new winner will be selected.

Win this by commenting and letting me know who in your home would use it best.
