I was blessed last week to attend The Moms Back To School Bash. It was a really fun evening for me, JustaBXgirl and one of her friends. It was also the chance to celebrate The Moms (Denise and Melissa) on their NY Family magazine cover.
JustaBXgirl was a bit cranky when we arrived but her buddy BKP was having a blast from the start. Our first stop was the Fruit of The Loom table. JustaBXgirl insisted on staying in her stroller while BKP designed her own t-shirt and I learned more about how Fruit of The Loom was making back to school life easier on parents.
I also was sent home with samples to start my back to school shopping off right! A pack of boxer briefs for my nephew, a pack of boy shorts for JustaBXgirl and breathable bikini cut for me!
After BKP finished designing her t-shirt we headed over to the KidBox table where, you guessed it my little guest artist was able to do some more coloring. BKP got to color in her own KidBox while JustaBXgirl remained seated in her stroller giving people dirty looks.
KidBox is a children’s apparel subscription box. Each season they will deliver a box of clothes (6-7 pieces) selected just for your little fashion model. You keep what you want and send back anything that you’re not in love with. If you keep everything the box only costs $98. I say only because most of what you will receive are name brands that you would pay a lot more for in the store.
After BKP finished her box we got us some snacks courtesy of Subway. This is where my cranky smurf JustaBXgirl turned back into the adoring, bubbly child she usually is when we attend events. Turned out she was hungry and just needed some grub. Thank you Subway veggies.
BKP preferred to snack out at the Chobani table. She was really excited to take home a bunch of yogurt and was only a little bummed when I insisted she shared with her brother.
The true highlight of the night for us was when the girls got to help out at the DJ booth. It’s all they could talk about when we got home.
As every other event hosted by The Moms this event was a complete success. Thank you for including me and my family in #TheMomsBTS Bash.
