One of my favorite things about blogging is the beautiful connections that I am able to make with other bloggers and brands. Not being in a traditional work environment the holidays can get lonely because you don’t have a coworker to chat with about holiday hoopla or an office party to get excited about. One of my blessings is for the people that get this. MomTrends knows that we are all in this together and host a magical #MTHoliday Soiree for their network of blogging buddies.
Once again this year I was blessed to be invited to a magical evening spent being pampered, eating, drinking and being merry with friends while learning about brands that would help make my holiday season simple. Simple and special. Remember yesterday I spoke about relaxing, recharging and regrouping. This night reminded me of how important those three things are.
It also helped me check off some last minute gifts by introducing and reminding me of brands that have what I need. I want to share a few of those with you now.
Pearhead – I LOVE this company. They have such good quality and beautiful gifts for babies and family. They are my go-to for families celebrating a baby’s first Christmas or any photo gifts. This year my favorite was the my wish chalkboard and the grandma’s little elf frame ornament.
Rider’s by Lee – We all participated in a fun styling activity that showed us Rider’s by Lee can really be worn for any occasion. We plucked a random scenario then dressed our mannequin for any event from a Lazy Sunday to a Girl’s Night Out with plenty of other activities in the middle. It was so fun seeing everyone’s personal style coming into play while using many of the same pieces.
Red Velvet NYC – This is perfect for baking with the family for a fun holiday (or Tuesday) experience or for when you have to get something made for the bake sale or holiday meal you have planned. Their products come shipped to you packaged in the portions you need to create a yummy masterpiece. And yummy they are. We were able to decorate our own scrumptious cupcakes.
Noble Vines – This wine is the perfect hostess gift. It is affordable yet sophisticated. Bring this to the holiday dinner and you will definitely get invited back.
Cents Of Style. – Our hostesses wore this brand head to toe and looked absolutely gorgeous. I am adding Nicole’s skirt to my letter to Santa. I loved getting to know this brand because it really does have something for everyone from graphic tees to cocktail attire it can be a one-stop shop! we were also gifted their extremely soft and wearable blanket scarf. I will be snuggling into it all season.
Name Bubbles – You probably know them from when you need to label your littles everything for school but their labels are so much more. They shared how we can use them for DIY gifts and FYI this is definitely going to be added to JustaBXgirl’s teacher stockings. How cute are the hot chocolate jars that can be personalized and then reused after the chocolate is gone? These labels also help to organize your life! And trust me currently I need all of the help I can get!
Oh, and did I mention that I won a prize in the raffle??? I won some awesome games from Hasbro. Yup, I put them away to surprise JustaBXgirl and her cousins with from Santa. We love boardgames so this was definitely the perfect prize!
And the best part? Even while we were having fun and preparing for our holdays we were able to make someone else’s better. This year MomTrends partnered with Second Chance Toys and we all brought one (or a few) new or gently used toys to be donated to make someone else’s Christmas a happy day.
