Don’t Forget To Pack…

Travel season is about to begin. I’m an oddball. I like being home in the summer. It’s my favorite time of year in NYC. I prefer to plan trips for when the weather is cold and dreary. Still, I am very aware that Memorial Day Weekend is the start of summer vacations in many minds. As you prepare for the multitude of travel plans you have begun making, I implore you, don’t forget to pack these items.

Handzies – I’ve been traveling with these for years. I’ve also shared them a number of times and yet, I’m sharing them again. These are great for on-the-go messes. They are perfect for cleaning grubby hands and for feeling refreshed after a day of traveling.

Keep Going Go Kit – This kit has everything you could ever need in a first-aid kit. It is also super stylish and can clip onto any bag. I used to grab a few bandaids and hope for the best. Having this allows me to be prepared for needs from splinters to cuts to chapped lips and plenty in between and beyond! I add a few allergy and motion sickness pills and I have everything we need.

Buzz Patch Mosquito Repellent Stickers – Here’s another you’ve seen before. Can you believe that I forgot to pack them on our last trip? That was a big mistake because it meant that JustaBXgirl got eaten up by mosquitos and spent the day in bed recovering since she’s allergic. If I hadn’t left these on my couch my baby wouldn’t have suffered. Not to worry, we won’t forget them going forward.

Watchitude Adventure Pack – This bag is a GAME CHANGER. I’ve had a bunch of tote bags in the past that fold into a small cube I can toss inside another bag and I love them. They are great in a clutch BUT this bag right here…This bag right here is a full backpack that folds up and can be stored in another bag. I will never again travel without this. It is great for running around with on vacation as it has four pockets and zippers which means there is plenty of safe storage. It also means that for those scary times when we travel and feel like we have run out of space when it’s time to pack for home, this is ready and able to report for duty. This pack was designed with our little ones in mind. It is durable, stylish, and built for summer camp shenanigans. Yet, parents, we will appreciate it for all those things and the extra support we get from being able to throw this in our bags!
