Seeing how moms are the ones that do the gift buying, for the most part, we rarely get gifts we really, really want. That needs to end. Yes, we love breakfast in bed but not if it means we have to clean the kitchen after.
I’m a mom that doesn’t really get Mother’s Day gifts. I know, so sad. Remember, my daughter is five and I don’t have a husband to buy me last minute flowers. I do have amazing friends and parents that let me know I am doing a good job with my little daily. That’s what the day is really about.
Here is a list I’ve put together for you. Trust me, I get it. You love the beautiful pictures and homemade crafts your littles make for you. BUT in case you wanted to request something different this year, read on!
Mionetto Wines – Yup, of course, a good wine is on the list. What goes better with motherhood than wine? I did the difficult work on trying out Mionetto Prestige Prosecco and Prestige Rose. The bottles are beautiful and even a red wine drinker like myself enjoyed the flavors of each. Waking up to these would make any mom happy.
A Bad Vintage Murder Mystery Game – Mixing wine and a murder mystery game? How much cooler can this be? I’ve gone to a few murder mystery events but I’ve always wanted to be able to really be part of the action. Red Herring Games has a “murder of the month” promotion running through September so you can check out different mysteries. I love that you can create a full experience without leaving home because, really, who wants to really leave the house? And during the month of May, the game will be on sale!
Drink, Laugh, Paint – Most of us have been to sip & paints. They’re so much fun and this art kit brings all that fun home. A lot of us feel a little intimidated by sitting in a room of strangers trying to create a masterpiece. And I say this as a person that leads children’s paint parties. This kit takes the intimidation away and leaves the fun to stay. You can grab a few bottles of Mionetto, a few friends and hit up one of Michael’s sales (no affiliation but I love that store) so art supplies. The kit includes instructions on a number of beautiful paintings and even invitations to send out to your favorite friends.
Mediflow Pillow – If you’re anything like me then what you really want for Mother’s Day is a good night’s sleep. The Mediflow pillow delivers just that. The waterbase adjust to your needs while you sleep. It is especially helpful for those with neck problems. I love that in the Floating Comfort version of the pillow the firmness can be customized and you can add or remove water to your preference.
Tanda Pillow – If you’re like my mom you are always hot. This woman leaves her air conditioner on 365 days a year. The perfect pillow for her is the Tanda with its Opti-Breeze foam formulation which keeps you nice and cool.
Nightlift Bra – I know we love the idea of getting home and taking off our bras off but let me tell you why you should keep yours on! The Nightlift bra is sexy and amazing. Don’t ask me how it does it but using it for just three weeks will have your breasts standing a little higher on their own! And when you’re wearing it they look great!
Sunbeam Heated Back Wrap With Shiatsu Massage – Listen, I am not as young as I once was. And even when I was young I sometimes got really bad back pain. This is a lifesaver for those times. No need to call out of work, give up a day of writing at the computer or pass on fun with justaBXgirl and my friends. This back wrap helps me get back to life quickly.
