One of my goals this year is to do more work around parenting. I plan to host parent workshops and build a strong single mom community (virtually and in real life). My first step in achieving those goals was to reach out to a few single moms I follow on Instagram and see if they would be interested in co-hosting a #SingleMomsSpeak chat with me.
Surprisingly (or maybe as a blessing that I am doing exactly what I am meant to do) goals was brought up and echoed as a possible topic for our first chat. It rang right to me and with my co-hosts support this Sunday, January 8th at 9P (EST) we will be hosting our first monthly #SingleMomsSpeak on the subject of goal setting.
Let’s be real, goal setting is a critical part of parenthood regardless of your marital status. While my hope with these chats is to connect single moms, the reality is that my bigger dream is to connect all parents. Parenthood looks different to each of us because we are individuals. We can and will connect to others on a myriad of feelings and topics.
I’m looking forward to learning from those that participate in the chats as well as sharing what I’ve picked up along the way. Here’s to hoping you will join in the conversation both leaving something and getting something in the mix.
Tell a friend to tell a friend to tell a friend to follow me on Instagram so they don’t miss the chat!
