Cascade Ice: Cool & Refreshing Recipes

Cascade Ice: Cool & Refreshing Recipes

Summertime means being home as little as possible in our world.  Warm weather is just the excuse we need to call up some friends or crash some family pools.  If you come from a big family like I do, then you know that anytime a few family members get together it might as well be a party.  And if you’re anything like me you’re always on the lookout for something new and exciting to add to the festivities.

We received this product for review purposes. As always opinions are honest and solely those of mine and JustaBXgirl.

Rest assured this summer you will be invited to all of the cool kids gatherings if you bring some Cascade Ice with you.  We were blessed to receive a few bottles to test out a few months ago and would you believe that JustaBXgirl liked it so much she refused to share with anyone else???!  Our friends over at Cascade Ice laughed at me and sent over a few more bottles so that I could try some of their summer recipes and as soon as JustaBXgirl saw the box she told me, “Oh yea mommy, I ordered those.”  This kid!

She really wouldn’t share. I had to sneak and taste them when she wasn’t looking!

Don’t worry, while I might not get to have all of their yummy cocktails and mocktails because my four year old has trouble sharing doesn’t mean you will lose out.  Add these to your backyard barbecues and expect a few of those summer toasts to be to you!  Which adult beverage would you add to these?  My choices would be tequila or vodka!

Melon Mixer

Watermelon drinks are some of my favorites!!!

Start with 3oz of Cascade Ice Blueberry Watermelon

Then pour 1oz of club soda.

Add several slices of watermelon and blueberries and stir

Pomegranate Icer

Who doesn’t love pomegranates?  Not to mention they pack a punch of vitamins and anti-oxidants.

Start with a glass with crushed ice

Pour 4oz of Cascade Ice Pomegranate Berry

Add 1oz of Cascade Ice Strawberry Lemonade

Top if off with fresh pomegranate seeds

Grapefruit-Lemonade Refresher

A BBQ isn’t complete without some ice-cold lemonade!  Try the Grapefruit-Lemonade Refresher for a new twist.

Start with a chilled glass full of ice

Add 3oz of Cascade Ice Grapefruit

Add 4oz of Cascade Ice Lemonade.

Garnish with sliced lemons and a sugar rim

And don’t think Cascade Ice is just for barbecues.  This sparkling water is delicious in its own rite.  Yes, the recipes are a fun way to dress up the drink but best believe I enjoy having these in the fridge for the every day.  JustaBXgirl likes to drink them with her meals and I love throwing the bottles in my bag when we’re on the run.  Even JustaBXgrandpa has admitted they’re yummy and he only drinks soda.

Thought I was joking about having to sneak sips! The strawberry lemonade might be my favorite. This would taste amazing in a margarita!
