A few years ago, I found this really awesome year in review printable to do with JustaBXgirl. Yes, I know a few years ago that she didn’t know how to read or write but I wanted her to have self-awareness from day one. I also knew that I needed tangible ways to reflect on my year because I have been HORRIBLE at journaling the past decade or so. What can I say, I’m a writer that has a hard time writing to myself!
Either way, fast forward a few years and now my little can read and write pretty well. I mean, well for an almost seven-year-old. I searched for the printable because I could have sworn I kept a copy to reuse but couldn’t find it. Yes, there are other versions available but I realized that I could create my own. I also realized that some other families might be interested in checking it out. So, that’s what I did. I created a version for me and JustaBXgirl to fill out today and decided to post it so that you can print it and share it with your littles as well.
I wanted to create something that could be good for everyone in the family so some of the questions might be a little above small one’s deep understanding BUT if your littles are anything like mine than I am sure that they will be able to get through the whole list. I will take time to give JustaBXgirl examples of the questions that I think are beyond her immediate understanding but also will give her a go at them alone too. Sometimes our littles will surprise us with how intune they can be with their own needs and experiences.
Do you have any NYE traditions that you have passed on to your littles?
