So, you know how there’s always a class mom that just does way too much? I think that might be me. And when I go completely overboard and act my most guacamole (extra) I need you to bring me back to reality. Now listen, I’m the woman that threw a goodbye party for my little when she was changing schools after 7 days! You know I don’t need an excuse to party. And with Halloween around the corner, I’ve been wondering what that really looks like in school.
Thanks to Oriental Trading Company I am ready for whatever JustaBXgirl’s teachers have planned. And by ready, I mean I have already, with the help of my team (JustaBXgirl and her cousin), put together Halloween Goodie Bags. Yup, I know it is the beginning of the month but we are definitely in the Halloween Spirit at home. I just worry that I may be overstepping a bit in case the school doesn’t do Halloween. Yes, I should have checked before I ordered and made up the bags but JustaBXgirl was so excited about doing something for her class. She’s a bit guacamole herself!
Now, I don’t really like her having candy and I’m thinking some other parents might feel the same so I decided not to include any in the bags! Whoa, Halloween without candy, who does that? This mama!!! These littles will get enough when they go Trick or Treating. If you want to see my thoughts on Trick or Treating check out this post from last year.
I’m sure you’re wondering what is in these so-called treat bags since there’s no candy. Plenty! There are so many awesome finds on Oriental Trading that it will be difficult to choose only a few. My favorite picks out of the goodie bags have to be the dragon glasses and the Halloween porcupine characters. JustaBXgirl loves the Halloween slap bracelets and the tattoos best. We included princess and knight tattoos because everyone doesn’t want to be scary on Halloween. Oh and lots of jumping spiders.
JustaBXgirl has been angling to have a Halloween party so I figure if the school says no treat bags then I will give in and let her have a party. And when I say party, I mean let her cousins all come over and decorate.
How do your littles celebrate Halloween at school?
