Never Too Old For Easter Baskets

Some of these items were sent for promotional purposes. As always all opinions are honest and my own. Oh, and I have included affiliate links so if you purchase it won’t cost extra but helps me run the blog!

We’re going to be spending Easter with some friends having an Easter egg hunt and doing some crafts. It will be a day of fun for the littles invited but I wanted to make sure the adults had some fun as well. I decided to put together Easter bags for the hostesses. I mean, who doesn’t like getting treats?

I considered making traditional baskets for the adults but then had an aha moment. I have a home filled with tote bags, and who doesn’t love a good tote?  I decided to pack each of the hosts a tote full of fun.  If you want some ideas for your own adult Easter gifts here is what I put in the bags:

oriental trading company, adult coloring books, girl time

Adult Coloring Books from Oriental Trading – There have been studies to show that coloring is a great stress reliever.  You already know that Oriental Trading is my go-to spot for gift bags so why should this be any different? I was surprised to see how many different coloring book options they had available for adults.  And they were so affordable!

rifle paper company, chesapeake bay

Scented Candles – I decided to include ones from Rifle Paper Co. & Chesapeake Bay Candle.  Candles are a great gift when they come from quality companies because most of the time you won’t even have to light them to enjoy the fragrance.  I usually leave a candle without lighting it in my entry hall to welcome me home with a seasonal scent.

quiet fox, tangledeasy, helloangels

Journals – I chose journals from TangleEasy and HelloAngels.  The TangleEasy books have such beautiful artwork by Ben Kwok and they will make everyone feel creative.  The HelloAngels journals provide thoughtful prompts on every page to stimulate reflective writing.  They really get you in touch with who you are and what you believe. I think they will a highlight of the bags.

bandai, tamagotchi, virtual pet

Tamagotchi – I know you read me gush about these making a comeback so of course, I needed to share the nostalgia. I did however only include a Tamagotchi in one of their baskets. One is a teacher and I didn’t think it would be a good idea for her to be tending to her pet in class and the other has three littles.  I thought adding a fourth might be a lot!

twinmedix, facial, pro-essentials

TWINMEDIX Pro Essentials – If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen in my IG stories when I had a mini facial using these products. They made my skin feel fabulous and I wanted to share that with my friends.

And candy! Shh, I don’t put candy in the littles baskets but I figure us adults deserve a sweet treat now and then.
