What’s In Your Diaper Bag – Breastfeeding Edition

I received these products for review purposes. As always, all opinions are honest and my own. This post includes affiliate links.

I haven’t used a diaper bag in a long time but I remember mine being heavy! I am here to minimize yours…or maybe make it a bit heavier! When I shared with a few brands that I was looking to do some sharing around breastfeeding this month I had a few reach back and share that they would love to share a few products with me and my readers.

The products included in this post are ones that I know I would have appreciated having many moons ago when I was breastfeeding. These are the types of gifts that I will be sharing at baby showers for those that I know are planning to breastfeed.

I joked about my diaper bag being heavy but it’s the truth. I was a first time mom with a brand new baby so I wanted to be over prepared. I would pack almost an entire pack of diapers, at least three outfits changes, toys and books to entertain JustaBXgirl and so much more. The one thing that I was always grateful for not having to remember was formula. That is not a knock against formula feedining moms in anyway. As I always say, we are our child’s perfect parents and if formula feeding is the best choice for your family so be it. It wasn’t for mine.

I know that not having to pack water and formula made me feel a bit freer to stay out longer and do more because I didn’t have to worry about running out of bottles. I did however worry about leaky boobs! Am I the only one?

I used disposable nursing pads when I had JustaBXgirl and while my milk production was regulating I would worry about leaking through the pads. Let’s not talk about the days that I would work nights and be sitting for six to eight hours without a pumping break! I love these Keababies Nursing pads. They offer four layers of protection. They’re organic bamboo, washable, and 100% waterproof.

I didn’t have a top of the line pump and I wouldn’t always remember to take it with me places if I was going out with JustaBXgirl because, really, what would be the point? I would have loved though to have the Lansinoh Milk Collector sitting in my bag. It would have been perfect for those letdown moments when I didn’t want to waste milk but for whatever reason JustaBXgirl just wasn’t hungry. Or for when she was hungry and attached to one boob but the other was leaking.

One thing that I did have in my diaper bag was a cover. I ordered a few before JustabXgirl was born because I wasn’t sure how comfy I would be feeding her in public. They were a waste of my money because I quickly realized that I would feed my child any and everywhere she was hungry. The thing is though is that if I had a Keababies All-in-1 Multi-Use Cover in my bag then it wouldn’t have gone to waste. I might not have used it when feeding but I could have used it for my stroller and car seat!

One thing that I had a number of in my diaper bag was burp cloths. I used them for everything. These Keababies Organic Soft Burp Cloths are so soft and large that they will more than likely be your baby’s favorite. They are over twenty inches long and over ten inches wide. You can use them for your baby to nap on! I’m only kind of joking! LOL

Which of these would you love to add to your diaper bag? Head over to my Instagram to enter my KeaBabies giveaway happening now and you just might be adding the multi-use cover to your bag soon!
