March Watch List

March Watch List

Movie night used to be a once-in-a-while thing for us. We used to have it about once a month. Since we are now home so much more so we have increased our at-home movie time. We now have movie night once a week. This made me decide to make this a monthly post for at least the next few months. There was a lot of good feedback from last month’s watch list. Have you seen everything on it yet?

If not, go watch those then come back and check out what we have for you this month OR watch these then head over there to see what else you should be seeing! I’m trying something new. This month, I’m organizing by age interest so you can easily find what you’re looking for. Don’t get too comfy with the style. Next month I might organize by how to watch. Let me know if you have a preferance!

Pre-School

Dinosaur Train: What’s at the center of the Earth? – JustaBXgirl used to love watching Dinosaur Train when she was little. I’m hoping to get her to snuggle up with me to watch this one as the Pteranodon family join Mr. Conductor on a very special journey with the help of the Drill Engine train!

Baby Shark’s Big Show – Starting March 26th on Nickelodeon, Baby Shark’s Big Show! follows Baby Shark (Kimiko Glenn) and his best friend William (Luke Youngblood) as they journey on fun-filled comedic adventures in their community of Carnivore Cove, make new friends and sing original catchy tunes along the way.  Catchy tunes? Are you ready for what’s next from Baby Shark?

Family Fun

Yes Day – Of course we chose Netflix’s Yes Day for one of our movie nights. It was such a cute family movie. It’s the type of movie that everyone can find a character to connect with. It was just the right amount of over the top while still staying grounded in what matters…FAMILY. I love movies that I can watch with JustaBXgirl that brings back the point that family doesn’t always have to agree but will always be there when it matters.

Waffles and Mochi – I know adults are just as excited about this show as their littles are. Michelle Obama is coming into our homes to continue teaching us about making healthier food choices. And she’s teaching us about food in other cultures. I might binge this without JustaBXgirl so I can fan girl out without being made fun of.

Parent Picks

I Care A Lot – JustaBXgirl was busy on Youtube the other day so I was able to catch this film on Netflix. I wasn’t ready! There is action. There is comedy and there is suspense. If you have a chance to catch a movie without the littles then consider this one. I also appreciate that while the content is not meant for a family feature it isn’t so dark and adult that you have to be concerned if the littles pop in for a minute.

Isabel – Isabel Allende has sold over 74 million copies of her 24 books around the world. I won’t lie. I haven’t read her books (yet). I learned about this HBO Max mini-series from #WeAllGrow Amigas and am so thankful for this group sharing info like this. This woman’s story is one for all to know. I’m happy that this was released this month and I hope you get to see it and become as obsessed over Isabel as I will now be.
