Hi Homeschool: Free Trial Is Over

We survived our free trial period and we decided that homeschool is for us. There were some stumbles before finding our flow but we think we are on our way to a magical adventure. I can’t wait to see where it goes. Homeschooling is not the best option for every family, but right now, it is the best choice for us. And we are here to share what we are learning along the way.

The #HiHomeschool series is here to stay. I am going to do my best to track our journey as simply and authentically as possible while not overwhelming you with too much detail. It is also my hope to give you the highlights here while getting more in-depth over on Youtube. If you’re not already following me over there, go do it now! I’m working to launch a #HiHomeschool series on the channel by the end of September. You can also catch some homeschool content over on TikTok.

What will you find in this new series? A little bit of this and a little bit of that. My plan is to share the good, the bad, and the ugly. I will be discussing different curriculums, different homeschool styles, challenges, and homeschooling hacks. You can count on me to always share my favorite items that make our homeschooling journey easier.

What won’t you find in this series? You won’t find many toys. Toys pretty much rule this blog. You can find those in everyday posts as well as Toy School posts so there’s no reason to introduce new toys in Hi Homeschool. That isn’t to say that I won’t reshare favorites that help us get our lessons learned. It just means that you won’t be seeing exclusive toys here. You also won’t find me trying to talk you into homeschooling. It is a very personal choice that needs to be decided by your family, not any outsiders. I am here to do what I always want to do. I want to support you on your parenting path. I want to help you see that single (and solo) parents can love parenting and are capable to do all things that our married counterparts can.

If you made it this far, you are in for a treat. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the curricula I will be reviewing this school year. Let me know if there are any that you want me to check out.
